Daydreaming about Clothes

Pregnancy is awesome, don't get me wrong...I'm just ready for it to be over though. I still have 12 more weeks, so I've got to do a little daydreaming to pass the time (after I write papers, tidy up my place, and finish all my other odds and ends). I cannot wait to wear my old clothes again. OH how I dream of having my old waistline back. My birthday is in a few weeks, and usually I'd be asking for clothes...but this year I'm asking for this really adorable AND practical baby carrier...I posted it on Facebook a while back, but I'll refresh your memory. I looove it.

Although I absolutely adore looking at baby things, I've got to occasionally occupy my thoughts with things other than those for the mini me. As I mentioned a moment ago, I CANNOT WAIT TO WEAR WHAT I WANT. I miss my high-waisted skirts, low waisted dresses, loose shirts, and skinny jeans.

Here's what I've found lately (if you want to go to where I found these lovely little items, just click on the picture).

...just a few things to dream about. I've hit an upsetting obstacle, not only do my lungs have no room, but neither do all of my decorating dreams! I have some getting rid of to do before I rearrange or add anything else.

Lately, I have been having a really hard time "dressing the bump." Everything I wear seems to be fitting awkwardly, but I do my best. My next post may be a post about that...

In the meantime, I've taken up a new hobby: crocheting! My Aunt taught me, and I've attempted to learn a few other stitches from Youtube. Currently, I'm working on a wool cloth diaper soaker. I'll post a picture when I'm through.

Happy Easter, everyone! I apologize for the relatively unexciting post...I'll be posting again soon and I'll attempt to make it extra exciting.

  1. You look effortlessly stylish and comfortable! I was really excited to wear my normal clothes again, then breastfeeding really became an important consideration. I can't believe I didn't think about it at all while I was pregnant.
