and thanks to my newfound love of crafty ideas brought upon by the lovely pinterest,
I'm hosting one for my friend Lindsey. So, of course I have many many ideas, most of which I will give up on, but others I will taint with my everlasting ability to make everything look obscenely "homemade" (aka a little rough around the edges). Thank goodness gracious I (my dad, really) was able to fix my computer to where I can have my beloved Photoshop (hence the new blog banner).
One of the links I saw on Pinterest inspired me to make the invitations to the shower myself, however, they didn't turn out as well as I had hoped...
...so I decided to use trusty Photoshop to make the invitations.
I'm doing the ever-original baby shower theme of a literal 'shower'...as in rain, not bathing. I'm going to be involving rainbow cakes and other rain related things...the shower isn't for a few weeks, but no worries, I'll be posting pictures a.s.a.p.
WE FINISHED THE BEDDING!
I feel like after sewing this (with the help of my grandmother), I can sew basically anything (very false statement). I love the little rainbows and birdies and I'm VERY happy with the outcome.
The sewing endeavor made me fall in love with the hobby, and I hope to never fall out of it. Be prepared to see an absurd amount of "look what I made" posts ahead (as if there aren't enough already).
Well, a little less than two months until little Miss Indie gets here. yay! Oh, how I need to improve my diaper stash, so little diapers, so little time.
AWESOME theme- raining babies! i love it!! And that bedding is AWESOME. Great job!! You are a great seamstress Alexandra! I love it!!
